Coception Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through coception.studio, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect
Information you give us
When you join our wait list: your first name, last name and email address.
When you email or contact us: your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
Information collected automatically When you visit the site, our website software and service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected using cookies (see below).
We don’t collect sensitive information, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
add you to our wait list and contact you about Coception Studio’s beta and services
respond to your enquiries
keep the website secure and working properly
understand, in general terms, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We will only use your information for another purpose if you agree, or if the law allows or requires it.
Emails
If you join our wait list, we will email you about Coception Studio. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we’ll remove you.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and cookies set by our website software (WordPress, WooCommerce and Jetpack) that help us understand site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some features may not.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and our communications, and only as needed for them to do that. These include:

Automattic (Jetpack), which delivers the site’s images and provides site statistics
our email delivery provider, which sends our emails.
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Australian law.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How we look after it
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including keeping our website software up to date and limiting who can access it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing systems@coception.studio. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please email us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
